Spam of the Day

Everyone gets junk emails. It is a part of life on the Internet. Sometimes, just sometimes, there comes a combination of subject line and sender name that just catches you off guard. Leonard Sizemore sent me an email with the subject "Your pharmace order". I haven't opened the message yet, so how can I tell it's junk mail? Watch this:

  1. Who is Leonard Sizemore? I don't know anyone named Leonard Sizemore. I bet $10 you don't know anyone named Leonard Sizemore. So why would he send me an email? Strike one!
  2. "Pharmace" order? I'm willing to bet that any reputable pharmacy would know how to spell their own business. Strike two!
  3. This one is a bit of a stretch. Ask yourself this question: Why would some guy named Leonard Sizemore be sending me information about my "pharmace" order? If Walgreens sent me an email, would it not come from an official email account like say "Order Information"? Strike three! You are outta here!
Come on you spammers. This is too simple. That message got deleted without even a second thought. You'll have to do better than that. Hit the showers...

Careful, Mr. Sizemore might beat you with his pharmace! I'm surprised "Sizemore" isn't a male enhancement drug already.
