One of Those Days

The signs are all around me today.

I walk in, hit the power button on the computer, and then plug in the iPod. The song "Everything is Broken" comes on. I check the screen... nothing. Blank. Cold. Dead.
Great.
I punch my Belkin 2-port KVM switch that lets me control two PCs at one time, but it's dead too.
Wonderful.
So begins the connections check. I make sure all the cables are plugged in and tight. That's not it. Then the iPod starts blaring out "Don't Bring Me Down" by ELO.
The computer has power, but the Belkin doesn't.
Figures.

After 30 minutes of fooling around I find the Belkin is hosed up. There are no replacements available. So I try it once more and it starts working again.
It will flake out on me at any moment. I just know it.

Then the phone rings...
Yep. It's going to be one of those days.
